Meeting

Grab a chair,
let’s have a talk,
confront my ego
one on one.

It grabs a smoke
asks for a drink,
then stared at me
eyes did not blink.

I looked right back
straight in the eye,
then smiled so bright
disarmed all fights.

“What do you want?”
Ego’s first words,
so strong and bold
self held control.

I said with ease,
“Let’s call a truce,
let’s work as one,
share balanced views.
I know you’re scared
way deep inside,
both fear and grief
make self-doubt hide.
You protect me,
supply my pride,
yet I’m your key
and purest guide.”

Ego replies,
so slick and sly,
” You’re my ally,
do not judge me,
within my eyes
lives all you see.
You’re in my chest,
speaking my truth,
giving me rest,
easing my blues.
You’re in my smile
and in my charm,
you give me warmth
keep me from harm.”

A blurry mirror
then showed me,
the ego side
I failed to see.

To accept it
set us both free,
to love ourselves
through all degrees.

United to find harmony
and figure out how to agree.
We slowly built comradery
resolving conflicts peacefully.

Knowing our capabilities,
we partnered up infinitely.

Loving ourselves entirely,
helps us spread more love outwardly.

Lady

Silver streams fall on her face,
as years hide within her grace,
memories of wisdom gained,
recall all gifts she obtained.

She sees all that tries to hide,
holds her tongue keeps thoughts inside,
will not compromise her light,
always stands for what feels right.

Finding beauty in all things,
accepting destiny’s ring.
Laughing off what may annoy,
celebrates only pure joy.

Sitting silent at debates,
never adding any hate,
bringing peace when she arrives,
spreading love that grows and thrives.

She transformed from insecure,
spreading light is her main cure.
Warming hearts that turned icy,
inner flare always spicy.

Secret smile worn on her lips,
savoring the smallest sips,
removing all dark eclipse,
proudly sailing on her ship

Regain

One fateful night,
I laid alone,
afraid my heart,
had turned to stone.

Actions at sight
changed me within,
surrendered to
unwanted sins.

Grown apathy
spread all around,
tilted my crown,
heart hit the ground.

It did not crack,
or even dent,
such solid rock,
became so dense.

One fateful day,
I realized,
that my own heart
,
was penalized.

I looked within,
found others harms,
determined to
regain my charm.

Watered my heart,
tears made it soft,
then empathy
played a great part.

Though undefined,
relaxed my mind,
my inner love
slowly aligned

Light Sprout

Today I plant
a seed that grows,
magical grant
infinite flow.

Reap what I sow,
lucky tomorrow.
The breeze will blow
the path I follow.

The sprouted seed
transforms to light,
creates good deeds
provides insight.

A little spark
expanding grace,
that clears the dark
shines bright through space
.

Comforting touch
caressed with love.
Emotions clutch,
protective glove.

All sins exhaled,
take off the veil.
Pure joy inhaled,
enjoy the sail

Believe

The world I see
is not for me,
judgmental breeze,
from which I flee.

I wish for ways
to find escapes,
entrapping tape
keeps me at bay.

I long to heal
from the unreal,
new world reveals
all that I feel.

I plant a seed
wishes concede,
forces agree
to set me free.

I move and sway
a different way,
another day
does what I say
.

A stronger voice
offers a choice,
play like a toy
or create joy.

Happiness grew
from what I drew,
all I pursue
now becomes tru
