Silently screaming,
expressive distress filled eyes,
lips forming a smile.

A sunny window
shows birds flying free,
peace filling the air
joys swim in the breeze.
A darkened shadow
obstructing all views,
dragging a thick chain
as the panic grew.
The calming warm wind
sound jingling chimes,
euphoric wishes,
travel far through time.
The loudest dog bark
is distantly heard,
screams freeze deep inside,
spoken words are slurred.
Icy cold water,
a semi-parched throat.
Champagne everywhere,
glass up for a toast.
Consumed bitterness,
scratch thirsty dry throat.
Envisioning drinks,
finding a dry moat.
Nostrils sniff streams
of flowered perfumes.
An increasing scent,
as new ones just bloom.
Inhaling skunk musk,
lingered in the air.
Throwing both arms up,
while screaming, unfair!
Graze the reflection,
a sandpaper scrape.
No place left to run,
or hopes for escape.
A caressing touch
with the mildest hue,
breaks negative up,
showing what is true.

.
Swallow my sadness
like it is a pill.
Exposing my heart
I stumble, it spills.
Swift hollow dulled pain,
consuming my chest.
My smile shining bright,
inside I need rest.
Shadow of my soul
haunts me to the core.
The more I receive
further, I deplore.
Wallow in dim pride,
a well-disguised ploy.
To keep worries far,
behave like a toy.
Mirrored reflection,
intently I stare.
See my younger self,
then whisper I care.
Summon inner strength,
demand it to stay,
command it to grow,
with each passing day.

Rainbowed emotions,
quickly swim to existence,
seeking clarity.

Caged by whispered thoughts,
ensures loss of power.
Recall achievements.

Turbulent storm angry and scared,
cried out enraged but no one cared.
Created pains left to repair,
erasing times, leaving despair.
Passive sun rays appeared to see,
the storm was hurt, felt so lonely.
Shined upon it, no guarantee,
as an attempt to stop the spree.
No words were said, offered a hug,
In hopes the storm would feel a tug.
Sun showed it cared by giving love,
calming blast down with warmer snugs.
Gale was surprised to see light near,
a silent cheer dried up all tears.
Sun glowed up close removing fears,
emitting light so blows could clear.
Gust was now thrilled to find a friend,
opened trust up, so shine could blend
knowing full well sorrows can mend,
infinite bonds will never end.
