Illuminate

Blind my eyes,
then warm me up.
Let your shine,
beam like the sun.

Clear my heart,
release my fears.
Brighten starts,
absorb old tears.

Awesome glow,
lights up my path.
Bask and soak,
in gleaming bath.

Kiss my head,
with glittered dust.
Radiant hues,
made of pure trust.

Inside out,
or upside down,
heal throughout,
then all around.

Far beyond,
reflections shown.
Endless bonds,
guide through unknowns.

Startled

The fear inside her misty eyes,
made her heart spring and shoot up high.
Blood pressure races to the sky,
asking herself the reason why?

Why did a solar flare attack?
Why do magnetic fields have cracks?
Why do so many problems stack?
Why does this world suffer such lack?

Taking a breath trying to calm,
drank water from her shaking palm.
Her lips so dry, she applied balm,
slowly recited sacred psalms.

Closed both her eyes, felt instant ease,
she got up then dusted her knees,
suddenly felt a sense of peace,
caress her face with the warm breeze.

So grateful this was not the end,
realizing fractures can all mend.
Instantly felt her faith extend,
knowing unknown powers transcend.

Prompt: We go with a collage prompt this week.
(Welcome back to a world which did not change, despite the solar flare and a cracked magnetic field!)

Fused

Last night I dreamed,
we shared a view.
Lavender scene,
with light pink hues.

The sky was bright,
flowers danced free,
garden of light,
colorful glee.

Visions I had,
felt strong and true.
My heart felt glad,
to be with you.

Dream of us both,
views feel supreme.
Scenes of great hope,
hues blush then gleam.

Bright purple paint,
free up above.
Light gumdrop stains,
glee filled with love.

Had smiles of gold,
true ones for sure.
Glad our mind holds,
you and me pure.

Today’s Song

Nature’s sounds crash my brain,
writing songs as it rains,
scratch off notes, rearrange,
distinct tones interchange.

Pretty melodies help,
ease my heart’s pounding yells.
Watch the dancing wind chimes,
flow through blank hollow times.

Memories quickly tap,
as thoughts fall on my lap.
Inhale natural tunes,
that smell like old perfume.

Loud uneven thunder,
showcases bright wonders.
Lightning crashes my head,
stagnant tears quickly spread.

Watch the storm stop and freeze,
as I sway with the breeze.
See a rainbow arise,
set the stage for sunshine.

Golden ray melodies,
serve a strong remedy,
for what may lay ahead,
play music my mind read.

Earth’s Breath

Inhales pollution,
tries to exhale peace,
dreams of solutions,
to provide great ease.

Soothes stressful pressures,
encaged deep inside.
Envisions treasures,
her hopes could provide.

Bright lavender dreams,
reside in her eyes.
An essence that gleams,
perfumes the vast sky.

Smoke covers the ground,
clouds dance in the air.
A joy so profound,
purple love affair.

Above and below,
meet right in between.
Soft mystical flow,
a magical scene.

Our beautiful world,
needs to be preserved,
allow love to swirl,
so she is conserved.

Integrated

Reflection seen,
is not my own.
A figurine,
eyes so well known.

Her intense stare,
held plastic smile,
creates a flare,
with unique style.

Look straight at her,
see half of me,
bright force transfers,
clears all I see.

Suddenly blinks,
her tears away.
Reads thoughts I think,
“she can not stay.”

Inhale the hues,
she left behind.
Energies fuse,
soul, heart, and mind.

Feel her essence,
linger inside.
A full presence,
that will not hide.
