A poem a day,
clears heartaches away,
releases stale cares,
hopes swallow despair.
A phrase on a page,
can bring love or rage,
rollercoaster ride,
is felt deep inside.
A simple short rhyme,
erases hard times,
soothe trails that were tough,
paint pictures with touch.
A poem a day,
let emotions play,
clears off salty tears,
allows joy to steer.
A message of hope,
expands narrow scope,
profound thoughts are read,
perceptions are spread.
A portrait of words,
help feelings get heard,
visions flow with ease,
image can brings peace.

Well Grace, that’s quite the spiffy, little poem you’ve got there! And it rhymes too! I see all these poems that don’t rhyme and wonder if people forgot. Whatever happened to iambic pentameter? Thanks for the treat and keep up the good work :0)
