Silence

Sew his lips
tie a knot,
words are gripped
forming clots.

Keep thoughts in
with all tears,
expose sins,
release fears.

Paint a smile
“All is great”.
Feel exiled,
lock the gates.

Fake it now,
for real then,
solid vows,
carry strength.

Write it down
read again.
Watch as frowns
find an end.

Unperturbed,
changing views.
Goals preserved,
make dreams true.

One by one
problems solve,
with the Sun,
dark dissolves.

Smiling wide,
threads are cut,
nothing hides,
inner trust.

  1. I find so much to love about your poems and expression, dear Grace. The beauty, the flow, the inspiration, and, of course, always, the reflectivity, and empowerment. Beautiful, my friend. πŸ’–πŸ’–
